FOOTBALL
The Myerstown Panther Football program is open to all boys between the ages of six and twelve in the ELCO community.
Notification about registration is listed in the merchandiser usually starting in the end of July and early August. Registration is usually the first or second Thursday of August and is held at the concession stand at the Legion Field in Myerstown.
The program starts the day after registration. Practice in the summer is Monday through Friday, 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, until school starts. After the start of the school year, they go Tuesday through Thursday. Every practice is at the Legion Field. The season typically concludes around the middle of November.
They play in the Lebanon Valley Midget Football League, which is a traveling league. All the age groups and games are either on Saturday or Sunday nights.
